This class is for children who attend a 1/2 day Kindergarten program and would like the opportunity to enrich their learning. Class time will be spent exploring science, social studies, geography, and holiday celebrations. Children will also participate in cooking, art lessons, music, yoga, creative movement, and library. The Dreamcatchers will study famous Americans, artists, animals, careers, and the environment. Hands-on experiences and walking field trips are incorporated into the yearlong curriculum. Class size is kept to about 14 children.
You may enroll in the 3-day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) afternoon sessions or the 2-day (Wednesday, Friday) morning sessions. There is also an opportunity to enroll on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoon.
