We reach out to you, our dear heavenly friend
so much of this world we cannot comprehend
Viciousness verses vulnerability verses virus
We pray for a reality more desirous.
Disasters, Discrimination, Death, Disillusion,
We pray for a conclusion to this confusion and seclusion.
For communities made vulnerable and high risk conditions,
For scientists, physicians, and politicians,
We ask you God to hear our petitions.
Lord, be with us now in mind and heart,
Free us from the weight of living apart
Restore us, Renew us, Remind us,
Reach us, Realign us, Redefine us
We trust in your healing grace and your ever present light
Comfort, calm and carry us until we reunite. Amen.
