Youth Ministry

"For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth. Upon you I have leaned from my birth; it was you who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you." Psalm 71:5-6

The Youth Ministry program at First Presbyterian Church seeks to create a safe environment where young people can be themselves, have fun, ask big questions, and grow in faith together. We are committed to embracing the youth of the church in all aspects of congregational life, and to teaching and modeling the love of Jesus Christ.

First Presbyterian offers many opportunities for 6th – 12th graders to become involved. Opportunities include Sunday School, Youth Group, Mission Trips, Bible Study, service projects, Music Ministry, and much more!

For more information, contact Gabrielle Heimerling, Director of Youth and Family Ministries

We are excited to travel to Kentucky during the last week of June to work with Appalachia Service Project, a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia. Learn more about ASP here :

"I pray that...Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19
