We are thrilled to announce that Children's Church is ready to welcome our youngest congregants into a fun and enriching environment where they can grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. Beginning Sunday, September 17, children from Pre-K through 5th grade will be dismissed from the sanctuary to Children’s Church following the Children’s Message. Our Children's Church program is designed to provide a safe and nurturing space for kids to explore the teachings of Jesus, engage in interactive Bible stories, enjoy creative activities, and make wonderful memories with their peers. To ensure we can provide the best experience for your child, we kindly request that you register them for Children's Church. This will help us plan age-appropriate activities and ensure we have enough materials and volunteers to create a fantastic learning environment.Registration Link: https://onrealm.org/FirstPresbyteri11244/PublicRegistrations/Event?linkString=ODMzZTk5NmUtYjFkZC00NzkwLTgxYTUtYjA3MjAxODdlNTE5In order to ensure the safety of each child, children in the PreK & Kindergarten class must be signed out from the Sunday School room. Each Spring we set aside time to teach our Third and Fourth Graders about the Sacraments of our faith and what it means to share in the Lord’s Supper. In 2024, this special four-week course will take place during March. Click here to register your child(ren).
In the summer, children leave after the Children's Message for "Children's Church," a time of stories and crafts.
At this summer's VBS, our campers will explore timeless Bible stories that show how Old and New Testament campers trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name.Through these stories, this program will teach us about people in the Bible who experienced the gift of a trusting relationship with God. In addition, it will teach us to trust that God will go with us, lead the way, share wisdom, to give us peace, and spark joy as we celebrate the good news of Jesus in our own lives and in the lives of others. We will also learn ways we can connect with and put our trust in God whenever we are afraid, challenged, or called to do God’s work in the world and share the Good News of God’s love through Jesus Christ.
