Stewards of Faith & Hope: 2025 Campaign

2025 Mission and Ministry

In 2024 we rebooted our youth ministry. Our Vacation Bible School enrollment rebounded to pre-pandemic levels. Your financial commitment will help our ministries with children and youth really take off next year.

Our Social Connection ministry for neighbors with disabilities is thriving. The Social Connection’s “Music of Connection Chime and Vocal Choir” will bring Christmas cheer to Kings Court and to Sunday worship this December! Your pledge to the annual budget will strengthen this creative new ministry in 2025 while sustaining our rich tradition of sacred music.

First Presbyterian Church offers Christlike compassion to people in places as close as the Camden County Jail and as far away as impoverished overseas communities. Your generous commitment will help us lay plans to expand our mission in 2025.

This congregation has had a long tradition of hosting seminary student interns. With your support we will revive that tradition next year. Their gifts and enthusiasm for ministry will be a blessing for us. We, in turn, will bless them by providing them with a joyful and compassionate environment where they can hone their skills for future service to Christ’s church.

Stories of Faith and Hope

Consecration Sunday, November 17

Christine served for fifteen years as the Director of Campus Ministry at Gwynedd Mercy University, and for eleven years as the Associate Director of the Newman Center at West Chester University.  Her background also includes full-time volunteer work at Freedom House, once a house of hospitality for homeless people in Richmond, Virginia, and a year of chaplaincy training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  She holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College, and a bachelor’s in Theology and English from St. Joseph’s University.  She is also a singer! Christine serves as a cantor and choir member at her parish, St. Vincent DePaul in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, and serves on the Regional Advisory Council for the Philly/South Jersey region of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC). Christine was the guest presenter at the Presbyterian Women's retreat earlier this year.

How to Give

Use the link below to make an online pledge to our 2025 budget. We are asking first time pledgers to pledge at least $10 per week. If you have pledged before, we are asking you to increase your commitment by 5% for 2025. Members should look for a letter in early November with a pledge card in it. If you'd rather pledge with pen and paper, fill out that card, and bring it to the Consecration Sunday worship service on November 17. There will be a procession during the final hymn. Bring the card forward at that time. Or do both! Pledge online, and on the 17th, bring forward one of the pledge cards available in the sanctuary. Just write "I pledged online" on your card.
