Programs

Nursery Program

Ages 1 years 4 months to 2 years 6 months
This program provides children with safe, dependable, quality care within a loving atmosphere. Our program includes several engaging activities such as painting, music, dance, playtime, and arts and crafts. Two to three teachers supervise small classes, each grouped according to students’ age.  Classes are in session from September through early June. Classes meet from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. September dismissal is 11:00am to allow the child time to adjust to the weekly program.

Pre-School Program

Pre-School provides children with a wide variety of experiences, building skills in social relationships, language arts, creative arts and music, number concepts, and motor development.  Our Music Enrichment teacher visits classrooms monthly, Creativity Centers with painting/seasonal projects/crafts compliment daily lessons.

• AM classes meet from 9:00-11:30am
• PM classes meet from 12:20-2:50pm
• Classes are held from September through May.

2 1/2 year old Program

14/15 class size with 3 teachers 2 days; T/TH or W/F; AM or PM
Child must be 2 by March 9th. Child does not need to be toilet trained.
…learning to respect others, to participate in circle time, play with others, paintings/coloring/projects and seasonal activities such as Pumpkin and Egg Hunts, and Mother's Day Celebrations.

3 year old Program

16/17 class size with 3 teachers 2 days; M/W, T/TH, or W/F; AM or PM
Child must be 3 by October 1st of the enrolled year. Discovery Days on M or F may add an additional class day.
…Socialization skills, learning and fun with colors, shapes, big/little, same/different, in/out, up/down, town walking trips to library, grocery store, fire station, etc. and a Spring Program presented to parents, grandparents and guests.

4 Year Old Program

16/17 class size with 2 teachers 3 days; M/T/TH or M/W/F; AM or PM
Child must be 4 by October 1st of the enrolled year. Discovery Days may be added as an additional class day.
…Socialization skills, learning with alphabet, letters, and numbers in preparation for kindergarten, classes gather for a “Sing-A-Along” once a month, walking trips to the library, police station, riding field trips, music class, guest readers, etc. Classes present a Christmas Pageant Program for parents/grandparents.

Transitional Kindergarten Program AM

14/16 class size with 2 teachers 4 days; M/T/TH/F; AM
Child must be 5 by November 15th of the enrolled year. Discovery Days class may be added as a fifth day on Wednesday. This class also provides a "growth year" before Kindergarten for children who have completed a 4 year-old class.
…Socialization skills, alphabet, number concepts, reading readiness continues as a preparation for Kindergarten attendance, 5's gather for a “Sing-A-Along” once a month, walking/riding field trips, music class, special guests, etc. Classes present a Christmas Pageant Program for parents/grandparents.

Kindergarten Enrichment

14 class size with 2 teachers -3 days; M/W/F; PM
...Class is for those children who attend Kindergarten and would like to participate in a Creative Movement Program, Art classes, reading readiness, cooking, science experiments, Yoga, geography - exploring our world, music, etc.
